Best Ceviche I Ever Had!

I had the opportunity to meet the owner Chito at a wedding at Lake Atitlan in Panajachel. He was seated next to me at the reception and we immediately hit it off. Fortunately his English was very good as my Spanish is non-existent. He was...with his lovely wife. They were there as guests of Loren, father of the bride, a Californian with a Guatemalan wife. My friend Loren has been eating Chito's ceviche for over 30 years, when he first started out as a street vendor .Now he has a great restaurant that I was brought to when we were back in Guatemala City. Truly the best, tastiest and freshest ceviche I've ever eaten. Had the Mixto, the Camarones, and one other...all great. Never saw the menu as my friend did the ordering. I highly recommend this place, not just for the food but also for the owner Chito, who takes such pride in what he does. Tell him that Loren or Steve sent you and he'll treat you like family too!More

Very good restaurant

Super clean restaurant, real nice waitresses, food is fresh and delicious. They give us an avocados with seafood for free . We highly recommend this place .

The best

After 30 countries including Peru, I have to say: for me it is the best ceviche in my World. The spices and the salse.... Wow!!! They have a Menu, but after 10 times here I never saw it... Just go with the ceviche

Best ceviche in town, hands down!

If you like ceviche, you must come to Cevichito. It is within walking distance of the major hotels, the place is simple but clean. Enjoy it with a cold Gallo or Montecarlo.

Pretty good ceviche

It's a interesting atmosphere, you walk up to the counter to pick up your ceviche (apparently a guatemalan hangover cure) (almost everybody was drinking beer). The ceviche is poared by the pound, $20 for a good fresh healthy meal.
