We ate every meal during our stay here. I loved my black and blue burger for lunch. I had a spicy eggplant for dinner that was wonderful. My favorite drink was a ginger beer. For breakfast I had an amazing avocado bacon omelet with lots of real yummy bacon. We had chips and guacamole numerous times as appetizers because they... More

Great food here, what stands out are the fantastic staff employed here. They were so polite and gracious to us. The beach bar by the lake is also a must a great spot for a pre dinner drink and the view is incredible.

We went there for a late lunch and maybe that's why the restaurant was nearly empty and exuded some kind of austerity... Nevertheless, it's a very impressive stone building full of character. We shared a broccoli and cheese soup followed by a plate of mixed tortillas (chicken, beef and cheese) accompanied by the usual guacamole and beans. Fresh and tasty.

Our guide took us here for lunch and it had to be one of the best meals we had in Guatemala. The tortillas were so good and the food was so fresh and tasty. Wish we could've came back!

We were taken there by our host who lives in Santiago Atitlan. The building is quite impressive with all the native stone used to build it. It is the restaurant for the Hotel Posada and we were told it is considered the best restaurant in town. The wine list is immense but alas our first 2 choices of wine were... More

Posada food is good and decently priced for what it offers. This is my go-to place when in need of a very nice meal in Santiago. Would highly recommend it to people who are coming to Guatemala for the first time; their sanitation standards are top and you can eat fruit, veggies, and just about anything without worrying about that... I stayed at the Posada for a week and had most of my meals there. It is not cheap, but the food is excellent! Everyone is very friendly and made me feel welcome and at home. The place is beautiful. It was wonderful, and I dream of going back. See Rolando for amazing bird watching trips too! Ask Nino about... More
