Cheeseburger was more like cheap fast food, fries were okay, steak was barely passable and everything was served warm, not hot. Service was fine.

This is a place on the water that serves nice food in a convivial open air atmosphere. It's not fancy by any means, but is a great place to grab a bite or a beer and stay out of the sun for awhile. They serve a nice chicken, delicious fish (tilapia) and several other nice dishes. Be sure to allow... More

We had the Chicken Alfredo and papas especial. The food was delicious but a little pricey. The Pina coladas were out of this world. Service was pretty good. We enjoyed a table at the waterfront under palapas.

This is a nice Guatemalan-owned restaurant. Most of what they serve they make or source locally. Security is on-site for parking. If you go on a weekend, make time for this as you could be there for a couple of hours or longer...enjoy the slow pace! Lots of families here on the weekend. The fried fish is awesome and you... We actually ate lunch here twice during our trip to Guatemala. We were traveling with a group and we had great service both times. Our group had a limited menu to choose from and all of the entrees were delicious. Seating is outdoors under shade with a nice breeze from the river. Beautiful views from the river and a very... The food was not good, the service was slow... But, we liked that they take care of turtles, the place was clean and the view was nice, you can see it on the picture.

We stopped here on our way to Tikal. I was told if you order a steak, have a sharp knife. They were right. The fish my wife had was wonderful, but they don't do steak, tough as nails. Service was ok, but not that great given the crowds.

We visited Ranchon Mary over the lunch hour on our way south from Peten. Although the view was nice, the visit was an overall failure. Strike one: The waitress talked over me while I was trying to order. Strike two: It took over an hour for us to get our food after ordering. Strike three: I ordered tilapia and was... More

Terrible. Bad service. The waitress "made a mistake" with the bill and and was adding more than $50. Be carefull with the bill. People rude and lazy. The place is nice. Good view. But the food is too much expensive. I won't come back ever.
