My understanding is that you can make a reservation to eat here during game days. That alone is invaluable as every place to eat in Athens is packed after a game. Their food was excellent, but the service was lacking. They did not have enough wait staff to attend to all the customers.

Visited the Foundry following a UGA football game and was pleasantly surprised to see that the kitchen was still open. Unfortunately the pleasant feeling was quickly replaced. We ordered two simple appetizers, the pimento cheese and fried pickles. When you think of pimento cheese, you think of a spreadable cheese. Not this one!! It was tightly packed in a mason... More

My Son-in-Law's mother rented part of this place for Rehearsal dinner for about 130 people. WOW! We had a great time and the food served was excellent. We enjoyed the place a lot.

Saw Shaun Mullins the weekend of Sept. 11th. Great show, love the venue. Kudos to Jeff the upstairs Bartender. He was very friendly, and professional. After walking us through the menu,he recommended drinks to compliment our choices. He also gave us information on some sight seeing options. Great experience, great service, great venue!!! Had a delicious meal with family. Staff was very accommodating to our group of six. The waitress was friendly, prompt and was kind enough to take pictures of us so we had memories to look back on. The music was a great accompaniment to our evening out.

The Foundry is a hidden gem in Athens. First, it's a historical building dating back to the War Between the States when cannonballs were made there! Now, there's a stage for live entertainment, a dance floor, three levels for dining, GREAT food and an incredibly hospitable staff. Everyone is pleasant and Joe and his staff bend over backwards to meet... More

Went to the The Foundry last Wednesday to hear a little Jazz. Was a nice mid week break with friends. We ordered the Pimento fritters and Parmesan Chicken to share. We loved it! We can't wait to go back on a weekend night so we can really enjoy and let loose.

I met some friends at The Foundry to have dinner and hear a band. One of our party got there early to save a table (we knew it would be crowded) and she was directed to a great table near the stage. She got a drink, put her things down, and when she returned from getting something from her car,... More

The Foundry has amazing food for what is essentially a music/bar venue! even ordered rather late in the evening the dish we ordered, consisting of 3 filet medallions with assorted crusts, was excellent! There is a full bar and drinks are generous. A plus for us was that it was also the evening when the Jazz Festival showcased a super... More

We stayed at the Graduate and had dinner at the Foundry. Free cover charge since we were guests. Food was amazing, service outstanding. The music was a tad loud for dinner, but the band was good and seemed to be having a lot of fun.
