If you want the most amazing cinnamon rolls and gray coffee with a laid back surf town vibe, this is it! Be sure to get there Walt, because the cinnamon rolls sell out fast.

Oh my goodness! We were taken here by some locals! All the food we had on Maui was incredible, but THIS was out of this world! We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed feeling like a local. I had a Royal with Cheese, (because Pulp Fiction) and it was THE BEST burger I have ever had... and I grew... More

We dream of returning to Maui, if only to stop in at this gem of a café! Staff was always pleasant and we enjoyed mixing with the locals. Delicious coffee, and the food was divine...we savored every morsel. Unconventional takes on old favorites, along with new inventions. I particularly enjoyed the sand tart- oh, my! One of our favorite discoveries... More

Stopped here twice because sandwiches and bread were soon good. Worth the short side detour on your way to or from Hana. Had several different sandwiches, all were very good. Friendly staff. Will visit again if in the area.

Good quick food on the go. The staff is very friendly. Large selection of food items for a small restaurant.

We stopped in for some much needed coffee and smoothies after trekking up to Haleakala for the sunrise, in preparation for dropping off our boys to go bike down Haleakala. Fresh baked goods and a delicious sounding menu for breakfast and lunch.

okay, okay, the name is so not "modest and unpretentious" that you'd be forgiven for wondering if this is all concept and no substance, but the only (very minor) detraction about this place is how they clearly are not greedily capitalizing on all the ridiculous merchandizing they could be doing with such a name - they need different logos for... Good fresh baked pastries and desserts, excellent for takeout or sit down breakfast. Not large place, but has outdoor tables to supplement, and you order at counter and meal is delivered to you. Large groups would be tight, but good spot for breakfasts and coffee

A popular, somewhat off the beaten track, place for breakfast, coffee and pastries, and lunch. We went for morning coffee and cheese cake or pastries at least 5 times on our latest trip to Maui, and loved it. There were always a lot of locals there eating great looking breakfast, or fabulous waffles with fresh fruit, etc. You can always... More

Stopped in for coffee and a pastry. I had an Americano and my wife had their house brew. We also got a passion fruit bar. Both were great! Although after tasting my Americano my wife liked it better than her house brew. Nice place visited by locals. We sat at the tables out front where we talked for awhile with... More
