After an unsuccessful search for a restaurant the previous night (one was closed, the other...gone) Le Cuistot was a great find that was recommended by our tour guide that day. Wonderful little restaurant, helpful staff, quick service and great food. Cost was reasonable too. Hamid...was very courteous and helpful. All the staff were very attentive. Highly recommended.More

It is overrated restaurant....it is overpriced in comparison with the restaurant in the same area with the same quality. Portion is so small, my experience was with Coscus with extra meat, but what I got was small portion in vegetable and couscus. And meat had...more fat than meat....after having full portion of Coscus with extra meat I had to visit KFC I have tried different restaurant in the same area but 1/3 of the price with bigger portion, I dont think I will come againMore

This was one of our last meals in Morocco and dare I say probably ranks amongst the Top-5 during our entire 2-week trip. Extremely well-maintained place with courteous staff and amazing food. You will hardly go wrong with this one.

One of our group looked up this restaurant hoping for a genuine Moroccan experience. The food was ok but we had better Moroccan food in other restaurants. The worse part of the experience was the pompous owner or chef. He was stiff, arrogant and must...have lost his sense of humor as a child. Unfortunately for us he actually acted as the waiter which made the experience almost unbearable. Definitely the worse restaurant experience of our 18 day (6 city plus many small towns) tour of Morocco.More

Owner chef welcomed us and made excellent recommendations. The chicken pastillas were some of the best food I’ve eaten anywhere. Everything was amazing. Very friendly and inviting.

I don't usually write reviews but this meal was so delicious that I felt obligated. From the assorted salads, to the beef tail tagine, lamb shoulder, and the nougant glace everything was perfect. I've had several spectacular restaurant meals on this trip to Morocco but...this one was the very best. Atmosphere was very nice but casual. The staff was very attentive but not overbearing. All the staff spoke excellent English for our needs. I would send anyone here. I read a couple of negative reviews but they were far off base. This is a nice restaurant so portions and prices were appropriate. If you want cheap food, you're in Morocco so there is lots of cheap street food but that's not why you come to a restaurant.More

BUYER BEWARE. The food was great, the hospitality was warm - but we left feeling scammed. We got a round of tea (one tea pot, 5 small cups) at the beginning of our meal and one at the end. Upon receiving our check, we were...shocked to see 385MAD (around -$35) charged for the two tea pots… a full tea pot anywhere else costs 20MAD, but they charged us 35MAD for a single small cup. For reference, we have had full, hearty meals for a family of 5 in Morocco for less than two meager tea pots at this restaurant. It’s a nice place, but order cautiously.More

This was a great total experience. Chef Aziz was extremely helpful and friendly. Guiding us through all the meals. Food was very tasty and just enough portion size. The restaurant ambiance was great and traditional as name says

I visited this place after looking for authentic food places in Casablanca this was first in the list. After visiting I would say it is not worth it at all, the owner is lovely but very persistent that this is the best food in Casablanca...but honestly it’s not I ordered the lamb shank chefs special probably the worst one to date. But the positive points are the service is really good and food came quick so that’s is the positive side. Also what I noticed is the owner is really pushy for you to make reviews on trip advisor hence it’s the number 1….More

Le Cuistot Traditionnel was the highlight of our time in Casablanca. Our friends in Rabat warned that it is very hard to find a nice restaurant that serves traditional Moroccan cuisine, but we were determined to try. We are so glad we did -- as...soon as we arrived, the delightful Mr. Khaled made two tired visitors feel like honored guests. And the food...there are no words. His suggestions were all outstanding (yes, it WAS worth it to taste two very different lamb dishes!), and made with subtlety and delight. We shall always remember this experience, and return any time we're back.More
