We just came back from Mezzanine and couldn't wait to leave a review. This place is a gem! Papas bravas: yummy! Buttery, crunchy outside. Grilled aubergine: deliciously spicy, great seasoning. Brochettes: the best we've had, although a tad bit cold. Lemon tart: incredible flavour! All of that plus 3 beers: 30 Euros! We didn't expect to find such good food... More

Location This restaurant is just outside the wall of the Medina. At the time we went (December) the road was partially blocked at both ends so you had to be creative to find a way in. Interior Beautiful, modern design. It’s the kind of contemporary design you would find in the best restaurants in the world, but with a Moroccan... More

Sit up on their roof terrace as the sun goes down and watch the birds swooping overhead. Its very peaceful and one of the few places close to the medina where you can get a beer (50 dhs)

We were so glad when we discovered that this place was not far at all from Place Bou Jeloud. We took advantage of thier rooftop, which gives a great view of both a main street and a large park, and happy hour beer specials, so that our 4 beers cost a total of 140 dirhams. It was cosy, on low... More

We first ate here two years ago, when it was a real restaurant. Now, however, it is a good bar but the food is more snack or lunch than whole meal. If you want a drink and something light do go it is well situated and the service is good. If you want a meal and night out try somewhere... More

A mix between mediterranean and Moroccan food, there is something for everyone on the menu. All dishes were of high quality supported by an extensive wine list. Attentive staff, keen to ensure good service.

Nice terrace where take a good rest with a nice drink after a full day of walking around. Make a pit stop here.

If your splash out meal in Fez is not a tagine-fest in a fancy road, then this is a good alternative. Tapas is not very authentic, but mostly very good; the tartines are creative and tasty. The mains are of a manageable size and come well seasoned and a bit different to the normal cumin-enhanced taste you have otherwise got... More

Bad service. Had to almost beg to get served. Food was poor. Beer was expensive. Staff was non-existent.

This place is just outside Blue Gate of the Medina. Pretty easy to find if you just look for the signs. We must have all been craving a more European meal as we had Spaghetti, Lasagna and Caesar Salad. All of which were very tasty. The atmosphere is geared more towards tourist than local people so expect a little higher... More
