The meals are expertly prepared and it's sure to make our palette dance. The tagines dissolve in your mouth and couples well with their wine menu.

Not easy to find being deep in the Medina and hidden down a narrow street but well worth a hunt. The interior with gallery and tiled fountain was a delight and very romantic. The food was traditional Moroccan and good although the service was a bit slow at times.

Wonderful palace setting, pretty good food. Very expensive by local standards. Brusque, unhelpful waiter who lost interest completely as the evening wore on. Didn't offer us coffee, as he obviously wanted us to leave.

Dined with family. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, the price was reasonable and there is decor and atmosphere. It wasn't lively and the service, while well intentioned, did miss a few times. For instance, several dishes on the menu were ordered and later we were told that they were out of them (after long discussions describing hen,... More

A classic Moroccan riad restaurant operating as part of a small hotel. The food was well prepared classic Moroccan but the romantic surroundings really made it for us. If you don't know, a riad is a local house with an interior atrium serving as a garden, often with a fountain. This was captured perfectly in sumptuous surroundings by this restaurant.... More

Like entering the Secret Garden, this Rhiad was reached through a small doorway. What lay behind was amazing - a beautiful courtyard which had been roofed was the restaurant complete with beautiful tiling fountain and live, sympathetic music. The food was delicious. We went as part of a large group but there were other areas tucked away for smaller numbers.

We had such a great time in Dar El Ghalia restaurant. The Riad is so enchanting! Food was fantastic as well as the service received. We spend a really good dinner with very nice people! Many thanks to all the Staff, specially to Hafid.

We visited this restaurant on our last night in Fes and were sorely disappointed. On the plus side, the setting is beautiful, A lovely riad with a beautiful courtyard. However, the food was of very low quality. Our starters were passable. A very average Harira soup (we had far better elsewhere for less) and nice Moroccan pastries. These were fine... More
