Wow - we visited this restaurant recently (Mar 2013) - and OMG the food is amazing. The restaurant is a hidden gem - and you have to know your way around the Medina to find it. the owner of the restaurant - and her home cooking made this. Her Chicken Pastille is a must try. We received the Moroccan salad... More

We got a warm family welcome to this 4 year old restaurant in the 15th century building that the husband was born in. The place is beautifully decorated in ornate Moroccan style. Our guide had warned us about restaurants with overpriced 3 course menus, so we enjoyed telling him the next day about Dar Hatim's quite reasonable 150 to 200... More

We visited on the last night of our holiday in Morocco and this experience left us with the best possible memories of Moroccan hospitality. The cooking is superb. the starters consist of numerous plates of hot tasty vegetarian dishes. We had the Vegetable Couscous and Chicken Pastille main courses and both were delicious. Some healthy fruit finishes the meal. The... More

My girlfriends and I were traveling via an "Experience It" tour. Our excellent guide Namir suggested this restaurant. He said it would be a "traditional Moroccan" dinner. And it was fabulous. The ten warm salads that were served would be a feast in and of itself; but then came the main course - also wonderful. The only traveler recommendation I... More

We were met at our Riad and guided through the medina to the restaurant which took all the stress out of finding a place to eat. The restaurant is also their home, and the welcome is warm and friendly. Important to note that they do not serve alcohol, but you are welcome to take your own. We had a lovely... More

Limited menu but great servings and good food cooked by mother and daughter. It is their home with the ground floor turned into a restaurant. If you ring the restaurant to make a booking the husband will pick up up from your accommodation and then bring you back after you have eaten. Should not be missed.

This is a wonderful dining option when you are in Fes. It's a actually a family that opens their house and cooks for you. The family picks you up at your ryad/hotel and will take you back at the end of the meal. The home is gorgeous and the family is so warm and delightful. The food is excellent, some... More

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious- especially the Moroccan salads. The service was warm and friendly and we were delighted to meet the loveliest lady we met in Fes. We were offered more food if we requested. Each time dishes came out we were given an explanation of what we were eating. The restaurant is... More
