I had a great lunch here on a cold rainy day. I highly recommend it! Try the date orange blossom milk. YUM!

The garden is pretty though and the waiters are not too pushy. Overpriced for same food that you find everywhere though

This place is a gem! Beautiful courtyard and delicious food. Loved the date drink too and the vegetarian options. A cool modern twist on Moroccan food. Loved it!

My husband and I visited for dinner and for lunch again during our trip to Fes. The food is delicious! We are vegetarian and they had many delicious Moroccan dishes we could eat. We had a wonderful saffron and vegetable tagine, a lovely veggie tapas plate, vegetable b'stella, soups and generous portions of bread with olive oil and olives. The... More

It is a fantastic place to be! I could not be happy to take their bread making class. Such an amazing people. It was a place where I could escape from the Medina's street and have a moment of silent and beauty. I loved every minute I was there.

Our host at our Riad said they would send someone to pick us up and they it can be a little complicated to find at night. We had google maps and said we'd find it ourselves. Wrong. This is a very confusing part of the Media but away from the crowds. A nice student showed us where it was after... More

We dined here when the weather was not that warm but the open fires in the garden made it a cosy evening. Very well patronised by cosmopolitan clients evidently enjoying themselves; the staff coped and the food was well up to expectation with an interesting fusion of N. African and Mediterranean cuisines.

We've had two lunches here. The staff if fun and attentive, the soups and tapas a treat and the custard desert with dates large enough for two or more and addictive.

Description
The cafe/restaurant is in the ruins of a courtyard house in the ancient imperial city of Fez. (Some signs will direct you downhill to us from Batha) Serving street foods, cakes and pastries, fresh juices (eg watermelon and date and orange blossom milk) and Modern Moroccan lunches & dinners. The emphasis is on fresh local produce, some of which is grown in the garden. When it is hot there is shade and sun hats, when cold or wet there is a salon with a log fire looking out into the garden, though when wet reservations essential. Situated 5 minutes from Talaa Seghira and the same distance from Batha. No alcohol I am sorry to say. We offer an escort service to and from your accommodation within the medina, though call in advance to arrange it.
