Nice dinner on our first night in Marrakech, recommended and reserved for us by the Riad. I think because we reserved relatively late (4pm on Sat for same night) we did not get a table in the pool/fountain area but were relegated to another room...More

You may ned some help to find this place but it is worth it. They have both Moroccan and Italian food but after eating Moroccos food for two straight weeks, we were so happy to find excellent Italian food. The waitstaff was excellent. The only...More

We arrived 7.40 for an 8.00 evening booking and just as well. This very good restaurant for some strange reason is overbooking and we saw people later having problems. The restaurant should grow up and stop this ridiculous behaviour. When it is full it is...More

Booked for dinner. Sat in the main area with the fountain which is very pretty. Waiters were the most efficient we’ve encountered in Marrakesh. Wine prices comparable to other places and you could buy 1/2 bottles which was handy. I had the prawn starter which...More

It's a little tricky to find but once we arrived we were seated straight away and offered complimentary Prosecco & OJ. We had a table in the courtyard and although it was December and cold in the evening, it was really cosy and romantic. The...More

The food and the restaurant are really good but the service was horrible! We had reservations for 8:30 and called a little ahead to let them know that we were running 10 minutes late. They said there was no problem. When arriving, our table was...More

A thoroughly charming and attractive place, tucked away in a derb in the medina. The Riad has a gorgeous courtyard with small trees, a tiled floor and a fountain in the middle; we were lucky enough to be seated there, with plenty of warmth coming...More

We had a reservation and we had to wait 45 min to be seated. No apologies or explanations. They just said it was overbooked. We asked for a tea while we were waiting and it never came. Finally we had dinner and the food was...More

Marrakesh is lucky to have many wonderful restaurants specializing in traditional fare. But sometimes you want to be a little different. We chose Pepe Nero for its wonderfully rated Italian food. It is tucked away in the medina, like a jewel. The interiors are beautiful...More

Suggest Maison Arabe - 3 different restaurants - all good! But on other side of Medina. Fun to eat in the bar - there you can order items from all menus, I believe.

PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
