We were here for lunch by our tour guide. Overall, this is an excellent place with efficient and friendly service and very good food. It is family-owned and managed. Waiters were very good in English communication. Menu was extensively and all dishes tried were very tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

We were taken by our guide, Mohammed, to this rooftop restaurant just off the main square where we were shown how to prepare and cook a typical Morrocan salad, Tagine & crepes for dessert. After about 2 hours we ate this 3 course meal, which was delicious. The proprietor, Mohamed Dadabi & his staff were very helpful & friendly, making this... More

We were here for lunch as we had a prebooked meal by our tour agent and unluckily it was on Eid festival day due to this our group of 18 were the only ones...it's a big place and a typical Moroccan set up with lower tables places on corners with sofas at right angles. But we had a main long... More

Imagine being on a rooftop terrace on a balmy evening being served delicious, fresh Moroccan food far above the bustle of the famous Place Jamaa El fna below. You can see the burning coals as Rabia bakes homemade bread in the authentic outdoor Berber clay oven. Inside the rooftop kitchen, Samira and team are preparing vegetables, tagines, cous cous, lamb,... More

Prior to setting off into the High Atlas mountains trekking, my guide Boubker arranged for me to visit Ait Bougumez so that I could prepare from scratch and then eat a 3 course lunch. From start to finish it was a great experience. Upon arrival I was given a wrap around apron, a hat and told to scrub my hands.... More

Nice atmosphere, very helpful waiters who are usually quite good in English and French. The food is very clean and tasty. Definitely go there if you are looking for a peaceful evening.

A big group of us went here for New Year. It's a traditional themed restaurant and the decor is quite dated and in need of a refurb. We were expecting a night of fun entertainment to ring in the new year. All that was on offer was a group of 'dancers' who just chanted and clapped their hands whilst doing... More

We are here on our first night in Morocco and as part of a group of 10 following recommendation from tour guide. Food was amazing as were size of the portions. Genuine Moroccan food - yummy. One small mixup with the order else would have been 5*. They missed some food but quickly recovered. Be aware though that this restaurant... More
