Considerable research on numerous foodie sites led me to believe I'd have a great meal at Al Fassia yet what I encountered was average-to-good food in a restaurant that's clearly catering to tourists. The table we were given had such uncomfortable seats that I asked to be moved to the banquets. There, after shuffling through the pillows, my guest and... More

After a bit of confusion in that we were booked in to their sister restaurant they managed to squeeze us in. Very busy place but must say the tangine was amazing ... I had lamb with caramelised onions and tomatoes ... simply divine ! Thankyou for a special evening

Exceptional Moroccan dinner -- wonderful atmosphere, great menu choices -- we especially liked the pastille with pigeon, and the chicken tajine with preserved lemon. Service was impeccable, and the wine list for Moroccan wine was very good! Overall, a delightful evening. Ask to sit downstairs in the small room that faces the entrance.

Came here with my mother for her 50th birthday celeberations due to rough guide reccomendations and alcohol license. Small portions, very over priced and luke warm food. Main problems were chicken came under cooked so had to send back! Service was poor with the rest of our meal left to go cold and other meats on plate taken were not... More

Recommended by a few friends. Nice enough interior...chairs very uncomfortable. Banquettes looked more comfy. Certainly felt like a tourist destination. Quite a few older folk looking for a safe bet in a safe environment. A couple of the waitresses were charming, a couple moody! The service was very well oiled and professional. We started with a selection of dips which... More

What a place! From service to food. I tried the supposedly best of the best in the top hotels but nothing in my opinion beats this place. The couscous was beyond imagination in terms of taste and smell and texture. HIGHLY recommended. A must to try!

Excellent dinner here. We pre ordered the lamb shoulder which required 24 hours notice, well worth it. Nice restaurant that was full and deservedly so.

We read from many places that this restaurant was one of the best in town. When we walked in, we were quite frankly underwhelmed with the low ceilings and cramped decor. The food was good, but the service was very slow. We waited 20 minutes just to get the check. The picture we're attaching is of a pigeon pie- which... More
