This was a wonderful dining experience but it is the ambience of the whole place that will remain in our memories rather than the food which, whilst good, was not remarkable. £228 for four of us was the all inclusive price for a pre-dinner drink with nibbles, around ten plates of different salads to share as our starters, then a... This place is phenomenal!!! Every time I visit marrakech. It's a must to dine here. You definitely have to make reservation time in advance as they are always booked. The place is located right in the middle of street of medina. Where the locals live... it's a pretty interesting walk to get there but once you arrive you'll feel like... More

This is one of the most stunning venues I have ever been like a medieval Arabic palace and I am a guest at a dinner The door is unmarked and in line with many houses in the Maghreb you are led down a dark and narrow corridor until you enter one of the best imaginable courtyards candle lit open fire... This is definitely a hidden gem in the Medina as others described it to be as we couldn't find it at first, even though we were standing just outside its door, until someone with a Moroccan traditional attire working for Dar Yacout appeared and let us in. We didn't have a reservation but maybe it is best you reserve in... More

A very unique place in the middle of the alleys of the city, the minute you enter the door we were amazed , it gives an opportunity to fill as if you are in a movie of Alibaba, a very very special place. The food is good but they served to much , so be carful at the begging of... More

This is an extremely charming, romantic restaurant. I was invited to dinner with 7 other people. Normally, I would check the menu in advance but I didn't have time to do so so imagine my surprise (and dismay) that the menu is fixed in advance. I didn't need to worry, though, as the Moroccan meal starts with small plates of... More

The portions are quite large - probably one main course too many, but all the food was delicious and the building is lovely.

The place is wonderful. It is one of the most fabulous terrace I have ever been but it's not possible to have dinner at. The menu, as known, has fixed price around 70€. The starters are 9 plates with typical Moroccan vegetables (carrots boiled in rose water, aubergines cream, peppers with citron, spring rolls - some with cheese and some... More

Food and atmosphere were authentic Moroccan, but the service was not great. The waiter seemed disinterested and did not offer any descriptions of the pre-set menu items. The multiple dishes were summarily served and taken away.

If you want to treat yourself with something extraordinary beautiful for a romantic dinner, this must be the best place. People who are not getting astonished about the overwhelming interior of the whole place as well as the service and the very good dishes must be arrogant, or they might have lost their sense for old oriental fairytales. Arriving there,... More
