There's not so much dining options when it comes to the morning hours in Marrakech. The locals enjoy light bites (usually bread) in their breakfast regime so it's not such a thing to eat out and spend your salary on smashed avo. There's a few...More

This place used to bee a nice, quiet spot . Now it’s crowded and inhabitated by those who wants to watch and be watched. The staff are cool hipsters who prefers to serve their own kind. Extraordinary wiew from the terrace.

This was one of our favorite places in Marrakech!! It offers delicious food and has breathtaking view of place des epices, the rooftops and the Atlas Mountains! Totally totally recommend to eat here!

I always feel that there is something charming and atmospheric about this place and I’m not sure why really, given that you sit on low, hard stools at small, equally low tables. Not the most comfortable, for sure! Anyway, the menu is fairly simple but...More

Best place to grab a drink if you feel overwhelmed from the chaos of the market. Upstairs you have the lovely view over the little square while you enjoy a good drink and some yummy food. The service wasn’t very friendly, but they were fast.

A brilliant place for a beer and excellent food. A DJ plays relaxing music and they provide cloaks if the weather is not as warm as expected. Really enjoyed.

Came here as Nomad was fully booked (please book in advance if you want to visit!). Lovely atmosphere and amazing lamb tagine. Get the cafe burger if you'd like to try something different.

Lovely place to have lunch - very busy we ate at ground level I think better than the roof terrace. Great menu selection and everyone enjoyed. Some parasols and also sun hats for share.

In the heart of the Medina and Souks of Marrakech lies the Rahba Kedima spice square, where old women gather to pound henna for traditional tattoos and sell hand knitted hats, while seasoned vendors run the surrounding spice stores.
Within this setting is the now famed Cafe des Epices, the perfect meeting place and rest stop from the heat and commotion of the souks. The inexpensive menu is focused on the simple and fresh, offering teas and coffee, freshly made juices, sandwiches, salads and crepes. The design is correspondingly simple: deliberately paired down and basic in order to offer a peaceful resting place after the visual overload of the Souks.
Built over 3 floors, the top terrace offers great views over the square and surrounding Medina, the non-smoking 2nd floor salon is a great place to lounge and the ground floor and outdoor tables are fantastic places from which to watch the colourful comings and goings of the spice square market.
