While this place has a very nice view from the top over the square and Bab Mansour Gate the cup of coffee was the most expensive we have had in Morocco while the black one was also the smallest! Sorry folks we will stick with the cafes on the main road in future!

Nothing special sadly as we had been recommended to eat here by locals so had hoped it would be a great meal. Soup was bland, salads were so so, cous cous and tajine ok but nothing special. Maybe it is better in the summer months when they are busier?

They have really good food for a very good price. I think it was about $10 US for a three course meal. Really good entrees. No credit cards accepted - take cash.

We ate here for two of the three nights we stayed at the Riad (we decided to try somewhere else another night and we're hugely disappointed so went back for dinner at the Riad the last night). The food tasted beautiful and traditional (authentic). A delight.

Rhizlan, the manager/waitress welcomed us and she made the meal a memorable one. She was funny, out going and made us laugh. Her english was quite good too! The food was well above average. We had the 120dh set menu - Legume and vegetable soup (tasty), chicken pastilla (the BEST in Morocco, large and delicious too), and Moroccan sweets and... More

Great views over the Meknes medina, really nice staff, top breakfast, OK dinner meals. They also serve a decent wine (from Meknes of course) with dinner. Something you can't get everywhere!

in an elegant setting. Wow! Dig those mosaics. The vegetable salad was excellently seasoned. And try the chicken pie, traditional for wedding feasts, in its flaky crust. But better share it with someone, as it is enormous and filling.

We ate here in August and enjoyed our delicious meal. The problem was that we ate outside and after 5 mins the candle on our table blew out leaving us in the dark. We couldn't attract the attention of the waiter and he didn't notice our difficulty so we ate by the light of our torch APPs!! Highly funny for... More
