Great view over the city. Service staff very friendly and attentive. One fish dish was very nice. The other fish dish was not fresh, somewhat smelly and not at all nice. Disappointing.

The first attraction of this restaurant is definitely beautiful view over Meknes, big full windows are helping it. Food is international with meat and fishes, menu on the black board suggests that it might be changing according to fresh ingredients, though we were told that salmon on the grill will take the time prepare so probably coming from freezer... Located on a hill overlooking Meknes, this was a delightful surprise. The cuisine was superb, and the wine very good. We unfortunately had to rush through our meal, which was regrettable since it would have nice to linger over lunch in this nice setting.

An unexpected discovery in Meknes, thanks to our hosts at Riad Lahboul, this restaurant would be right at home in the trendy area of any large city in Europe or America. The menu is inspired, traditional French, with Chef Philippe's inspired personal twist, all made with local fresh ingredients Our dinner was stunning and most welcome after days of more... More

After two weeks of traveling in Morocco, we were searching for a place where we could enjoy a good meal, some Moroccan wine and some peace and quiet. The Bistro turned out to be all of that and more. The food, wine and view were spectacular. Philippe (the chef/owner) took wonderful care of us and served us an outstanding meal.

on a recent business tip to Meknes I had the occasion to dine twice at the Bistrot, once for lunch and once for dinner. The menu of the day (which is shown to you by the waiter on a blackboard) was the same each day, which makes me wonder just how "of the day" it is. But the food was... More

Well run and classy bistrot attached to the Transatlantic hotel overlooking the old town from the hill opposite. The owner and cook is a flamboyant Belgian which makes decent bistro style food. We had a large and juicy filet de boeuf that I hadn't seen before in Morocco. As a dessert there was excellent citrus on speculoos cake or also... More

We were travelling as a group and had lunch at this restaurant. The décor was modern and pleasing. The chef owner came to greet us. He was a bubbly and very welcoming person. There were about 18 or so of us in our group which included vegetarians, kosher and other special requests. The restaurant was more than happy to accommodate... More

This restaurant is a great option for a relaxing dinner in beautiful surroundings. I live in Ifrance and stopped here with my sister for a relaxing lunch on a return from Volubilis. The peaceful and relaxed surroundings make it the perfect location for a beautiful meal while taking in the view from Meknes medina from across the ravine. The style... More

Are you looking for a nice, warm, elegant, and reasonably-priced French restaurant in Meknes? Try this one! You will definitely not regret it. Philippe (the manager and host) makes you feel welcome in his restaurant. He meets you at the door with a broad smile and delight to have you there. We were shown to a table, which gave us... More
