Mainly went there because of the place they offer, such a pretty place that is even prettier at night. The food was average nothing exceptional and nothing so good you will crave a few days later. But really, for me, it is all about the great place they offer.
We had a nice dinner on the patio of the veranda - the night was beautiful and it was hard not to enjoy it, with a bottle of vin Gris. However, the food was only average (the beef was really bad but granted, this is not a Moroccan specialty - the fish we had was regular but nothing to rave... More
Good place; fine dining; excellent meals; a bit pricey (expensive), but the place in terms of quality-- can't beat it + it's by the Institut Francais.. in a quiet low key neighborhood, close to the tram stop by the Catedrale..
We had Christmas dinner here. It is a very good french kitchen. Quick and friendly service and the prices are good too. Not so expensive. A good experience for us. No pizza this time !! I can recommend this restaurant.

Celebrate this great restaurant for now as I believe that imminent Moroccan legislation will mean the closing of food venues attached to cultural centres and museums - unfathomable! We loved our dinner here - the food was terrific, especially the desserts (the nougat icecream is tops!). The service was great and the ambience is just fantastic.
It's a restaurant inside the Morocco's French Institute, in the diplomatic city center of Rabat, with a tramway stop near. The quality of food is good and you can drink a good wine too, difficult to find in the most of places in Morocco. The price is not cheap but not very expensive neither.
I have eaten at the restaurant on a few occasions and had a pleasant time. Tonight was terrible, i ordered one plate of food Entrecote Steak. And it just didn't arrive. I waited at least 30 minutes with some olives and a can of Fanta. I just had to leave without paying in the end. The waiter chased after me... More
Though I live in Rabat, I've only been to La Veranda once. I intend to return regularly. My first lunch, in October 2013, was great. We were the first to arrive and dined outdoors. My guest and I both had the daily special (veal, I believe), which was delicious and well balanced by vegetables and greens. The desserts were also... More
