Ty Potes is a great French restaurant in the heart of downtown Rabat. It's very hidden and can be hard to find if you don't know where you are going, but it is kind of behind the big Institut Francais. It has a charming garden in the back and great ambiance in general. It gets very crowded on Sundays around... More

Tucked away behind the Institut Francais and near the Marche des Fleurs, this is a hidden gem of a restaurant, so good that I went twice. Ty Potes specialises in Bretton cuisine, buckwheat crepes in particular but there is much more to delight on a menu of daily specials. There was so much here that I wanted to try. The... More

I would definitely recommend to have lunch in this restaurant. The french food was great and very reasonably priced.

Affordable little crêperie with great food. A bit tricky to find because it's not large and on a side street. It was packed for lunch today (February, very low season), so maybe expect to wait for a table in high season. Friendly, accommodating, multilingual waitstaff. Even the name is bilingual: Ty (breton) = 'cottage' + Potes (French slang) = 'friends'.

We love this little restaurant. The selection of crepes is super and the accompanying salad is delicious. We have visited it many times while we have lived in Rabat and it is one of our favorites. It is crowded however during the lunch hour, especially if you want to sit outside in the lovely garden. The owner is gracious and... More

The fact that alcohol is served here is just a little bonus to the fabulous French food that this delightful restaurant serves for their main course through dessert. As good as the food it the staff makes it even better. A wonderful meal.

We were dropped here by our taxi driver who got it mixed up with a different restaurant we'd asked for in the same area (near the Institut Francais). Very pleasant garden for outdoor eating and we enjoyed some wine with our lunch, a rare treat in Morocco in our experience. Food was perfectly cooked; note, however, that it is all... More
