We just had to visit this cafe with all its history. Live yourself into a james bond or jason bourne movie and just watch the traffic and people go by. Very friendly and welcoming staff and inexpensive coffee. Highly recommend!

We visited this cafe more to experience the history of it. It holds a rather interesting history if you are familiar with international espionage. If you are just looking for a nice place to have some tea or coffee, it also serves this purpose well. Sitting outside offers a nice vantage point to people watch, but if the weather is... More

a great place to meet people as its well known by taxis, and actually on a main road so good access . A remnant of French colonialism, next to french embassy and cultural center. Its essentially a well known cafe serving Tea and Coffee, juices and very simple food. It has seen better days, and like most cafes in North... More

After visiting souk of Tangier, I took a street rising up to new city, to get to main boulevard Pasteur with many shops and cafes and I get to Place de France. Opposite the French consulate there is a Grand Café de Paris. Grand Café de Paris in Tangier is widely regarded as one of the most famous of the... More

We were taken here by a friend who lives in Tangiers and enjoyed the atmosphere and décor. I loved their mint tea. Well worth a visit just to watch the world go by.

or David Webb or Matt Damon for that matter. Went just to check out the site as it was part of the Bourne Ultimatum movie which was shot on location. Not set up exactly the same but I certainly knew I was in the right place. A lot of old men at this café soaking up the salty air, caffeine,... More

We only had a coffee here. The clientale seemed to be mostly elderly men who had probably frequented it since the days of the International Port. The decor had certainly not altered since then and was oustanding moroccan deco, It's woth avisit just for that.

I was taken here during my guided tour with Laila tours. I was told of the historic value of this cafe and only wish I was given that true taken back in time feeling. It's like an old gentleman's hang on during the day.. No idea about the evening. Had some coffee, sat for a while and moved on.
