The idea was to experience good and novel food.. This restaurant caters to tourists, we were there in October and at 8 PM no other customers, after 9 PM some locals showed up. There is no a-la-carte menu but a fixed price meal, that started with suspicious soup and fruit juice and ended with fish grilled on wood fire. The... More

The restaurant has a set menu of several dishes of traditional food starting from soup, appetizers, two main courses, local home made juice and two dessert dishes. I suggest going on an empty stomach and not to fill up on the bread, plenty of delicious food is coming.

Nice small place. Authentic morocco atmosphere. Fixed menu of very fresh fish for 160 dirham. Remarkable couscous with almonds and honey!

It's a traditional restaurant where the food (fish) is really excellent, a MUST-SEE place in Tangier.

Simply: If you visited Tangier and didn't stop for a dinner meal in this restaurant, you simply missed out on the best seafood place there is. Al Achab in arabic literally translate to "The Herbalist" in English. I am a seafood fanatic from Saudi Arabia and I have been to more than 20 countries, this restaurant is definitely among the... I came to this place on a recommendation from a local. It's a set menu, for around 140Ds, and worth every penny as you're served an absolute feast! Make sure you're hungry before going, as you will eat like royalty. The meal starts with fish (prawn and swordfish) soup, bread, olives and nuts. Unlimited prune/date juice is served throughout the... More

Not really a review, wanted to try it as it is very close to my hotel (Rembrandt), but even tho google maps said it is open 7 days it is not. Sadly my last night here so won't have a chance to try it. Couldn't figure out how to add this info to restaurant details here as opening days were... More

Great food for a good value. They have a fixed menu at 130DH. Fish soup, Spinach and shrimp tajine, fish of the day and swordfish brochettes... delicious juice and yummy breads, olives and nuts. It's better than the saveur de poisson and cheaper.
