An absolute gastronomic treat. One does not get to experience this kind of fine dining often these days. I felt quite underdressed for the experience. (although had the required collar, longs and shoes on) My concerns that the 7 courses would not satisfy my hunger...More

We went to the hotel for high tea. Worth the visit, nice relaxing tea, with a view of the Victoria Falls bridge and some warthogs munching on the lawn.

Great location. Good food, Friendly efficient service. The piano player had a limited repertoire. I think 'Lady in Red' was his favourite. Would definitely recommend it though. Pays to book in advance.

This looked the best value when I booked to go Victoria Falls and the experience was great, all trips can be arranged and Thomas will drive you all over town and pick you up

This is probably best value for money I have experienced in fine dining around the world. The setting is one of a kind - early 20 century British colonial- well maintained but not having lost its character. The food - we had 7 course tasting...More

This was one of our highlights during our recent Africa trip. The service is impeccable with food to match. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening here and would recommend that you visit this restaurant during your stay in Victoria Falls,

Didn't eat in the restaurant but thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea on the terrace outside with a view of Victoria Fall Bridge and the mist from Victoria Falls rising behind it. Served from 3PM in afternoon toll 5 PM.

My wife and I didn't go cheap, we did the full course meal along with some very fine wine. All together, including probably a 20% tip, we paid $295 USD in total. It was well worth it. (circa June 2016)

No. You would not be over-dressed at all, in fact I don't think one can over-dress for this restaurant. I wore jeans with a button down long sleeved shirt, and combed my hair.

Yes, I believe it is rated four star - it is a lovely but very old hotel 100plus years. So, expect some graceful aging. The service is exceptional and the rooms are lovely with fantastic views. It reminded us of some of... More
