Staying here for 2 weeks i got to see the inconsistency in service. Sometimes its good sometimes bad depending on the person and mood. Tried different pizza's as the service, good and bad. Surprisingly the staff do not differ from staying guests and normal guests.

Not a great experience. AWOL waiters and overcooked food. From the restaurants available at the Grand Palm this comes in last

Ordered a quick meal due to further after hours meetings. was pleasantly surprise - fresh, well garnished and timely delivered. Waitrons and bar-persons friendly, not too chatty but on point. Thanks for the service

Great place to have sundowners by the pooslide. Be careful of the monkeys if you order food because they can be a pain. The pizza menu is decent but I find prices in Botswana to be significantly more than prices in South Africa. Our waitress was always on point with filling up our glasses before they finished. This venue seems... More

The Fig Tree is the poolside restaurant that forms part of the Grand Palm Hotel. Lovely pool with baby pool for your little one. Hamburgers are very good. Kitchen normally closes at 6pm.

Nice to sit by the pool side. Shallow pool for toddlers available. The chicken burgers are tasty and a decent size.

This was a random visit, I was at the hotel for other business, and needed some lunch. The pool bar was the first to open on the day. Service is snappy, I had excellent fish and chips with perfectly crispy fries and nicely battered fish. They have huge portions. If pressed for an option for a quick lunch when in... More

This is a nice-enough place to have a coffee or a drink if you're staying at the hotel. The service can be a little slow, but if you're not in a rush then it's great to sit outside for a while.

This bar is situated next to the swimming-pool area of the Peermont Walmont hotel in Gaborone. It has a wide selection of drinks and bar-type meals. The menu is extensive and offers a wide range of meals. It also lists the various wines available in the Walmont. I never tried it, but the 'Fat Ba*tard' chardonnay was difficult to miss!... More
