Truly among the best pizza I've ever eaten. Most of my colleagues now only volunteer for work assignments in Ouaga because of.... Le Verdoyant pizza. Get in early though and the mosquito's are ever present. They do a mean sorbet in vodka that will make an elephant fly.

While on a two week visit to Burkina Faso my friends and I ate at this restuarant as they had been here before. This was my first visit and I was not disappointed. The pizza I selected was a four cheese pizza and it was huge and so delicious. It was great to be able to see the pizzas being... More

This restaurant is brilliant, and one of my favourite sports to eat in Ouaga. The menu is varied, and the Pizza is absolutely delicious. Security is taken very seriously, yet there is still a relaxed and chilled atmosphere. In my opinion their Passion Fruit sorbet is the best in the whole world!! It is refreshing while still fruity and smooth.... More

I ate here twice during a recent trip to BF. The pizzas are delicious--paper thin crisp crust cooked in a brick oven and filled with fresh ingredients. There is an ice cream shop next door and they provide the fresh ice cream. Try the mango or coconut!

Even if you're surrounded by walls and you have to clear a security check at the entrance (almost everywhere in Ouaga) you can still enjoy an open air atmosphere. It's not a gourmet place but food is ok for an informal lunch. Many interesting pizza options, you can even order an open calzone !

Loved the Pizza. Our favorite time to be there - for the Frais Melba. Incredible fresh strawberry sundae. When in Ouaga, this is the place we eat most of our meals. Nice variety.

The Verdoyant is situated near the center of Ouagadougou, near the main Post Office (La Poste). They specialize in pizza and various local dishes are available. Takeaways are also available. Prices are at the higher end of local cuisine but nevertheless reasonable. Security has been upgraded recently. The restaurant

Ouagadougou is a bit difficult for expats because of the average poor variety of dishes in local restaurants and in the expat restaurants. This is a nice exception: the food, mostly italian, is excellent (and I am Italian!), and in some cases even outstanding. I tried several pizza types, and all of them were up to the best standards of... More

My dad and I go to Ouagadougou once a year for humanitarian work. Coming to the Verdoyant has became me our place of relaxation - we just love the food, the service, the peace and the friendliness of the owner! I once didn't enjoy my fish (just a taste issue) and I got given a new meine straight away! I'm... More
