There are many great places to have coffee in Addis, but Tomoca is one of my favorites when it comes to more modern coffee joints. It's not as westernized as Kaldis but maintains a nice mix of Ethiopian and western coffee traditions. Not a big...More

Love the creamy, strong and distinct taste of tomoca's coffee. Their business model is probably the most unique and successful in the country. Love the Italian style format of their coffeeshops (no seats, just standing table) and wouldn't recommend anywhere else to drink coffee in...More

Well when you taste this coffee you find out that you haven't been drinking coffee all your life. Try the traditional coffee (bunna). The waiting time is a little long but it worth it. I rated 4 for the waiting time.

Great place to visit to pick up coffee for a gift. I usually pick up a couple of kilograms prior to traveling.

I just love this place, it is as busy as a cafe in Milano or Roma but of course with the excellent TOMOCA coffee. The atmosphere is so great I could hang out there for hours. Don't miss that out if you are in Addis!

Vibrant place where you can experience today's Addis, the people, diversity, the coffee aroma, the expertise of the staff making your macchiato... a place that should be on the list of any traveller to Addis.

Tomoca's oldest 'flagship' coffee bar is in Piazza and one time when I was there with an Ethiopian friend he told me it was where Addis learned to drink good coffee. Now you can find several Tomoca coffee bars around the city, including the Raddison...More

They have a machine but connectivity is a problem. Bring cash. There are two ATMs right outside that don't charge fees. So jackpot! Coffee, absolutely amazing. The beans are not grown in plantations but picked from wild plants. They are STRONG but make a delicious...More

Just awesome tasty variety of coffee and hot chicks to see ;) Ask for the cappuccino or just sip the traditional coffee. Do try the same with milk and then without milk - you SHALL notice the difference

Nice place to spend some time drinking Ethiopian coffee. You can also buy some beans for yourself. Rooms are filled only with tables - no seats are available.

Tomoca sells roasted whole beans at the original shop in town and at their shop in the Radisson Blu hotel. I don't think they sell green coffee beans, just 2 or 3 types of roasted beans.
