This restaurant had great service, an elegant setting, and very good prices by American standards. The food wasn't quite 5 stars, but the overall experience was.

I had a dinner here with my best friend. It was so calm with relaxing music and delicious food with coconut.

Great food, great ambience, great music. Only two complaints: they don't take credit cards, and the band played It's A Small World, which always goes round and round in my head for days after I hear it :-)

I went there because of good reviews, expecting a great dinner. The price met the expectations, but that was about it. The service was quite unfriendly and the fishfilet with vanille sauce wasnt tasty at all. I didnt even finish my meal. From all the upper resraurants in Madagascar by far the worst.

I arrived as the first customer of the evening. Was immediately impressed by their cozy ambience and decoration that seems to be a mixture of European and local Malagasy style. I had a foie gras (served hot) as entrée, a zebu steak, and a cocktail n some tea to round it off. All of it were exquisite! A group of... More

So many times I had the opportunity having dinner there together with my husband but also with some friends. Food there was very nice, and I have a good souvenir from its owners Jeanie and Danielle who were really elegant, charming, nice and sympathetic. Those two French expatriates did a great job by investing in that restaurant together. But I... More

Arriving at 7, my colleague and I had the restaurant to ourselves for the first half hour. At 7.30, the four piece ensemble arrived, and we were serenaded. The waiter wanted us to go for the foie gras; I chose more conventional continental fare. It was a working day, so we did not try the wine list, which looked tempting.... More

The food was just OK, nothing special. Specialize in dishes made with vanilla, but yeah, just ok. The cocktails were good, a bit expensive, but tasty. Great service and nice atmosphere. There are many other fantastic restaurants in Tana, so I won't be going back to this one. But give it a shot if you love French cuisine.

Had a delicious meal here when we stayed one night in Tana highly recommended well worth a visit. Use of Vanilla in the sauces for the chicken and in an absolutely delicious soufflé . Local band playing very enjoyable evening.
