The place has a nice colonial style. Staff are welcoming. Good food. Enjoyed having diner there. I ordered fish with garlic butter sauce. A delight.

Coming back to Tana after 15 years (I used to live there) for a business trip, I was quite excited to see the "Chalet des Roses" had survived…. For sure, it is now suffering from more competition! As a starter, I asked the carpaccio de zebu…. Clearly it had just been thawed… not what I expected! As principal, breaded pork... More

Nice place in downtown. At the beginning (years ago) it had specilized in Italian food but now it has lost the "DNA". Medium level of food, every time always the same menu. In any case price is good and the staff is very friendly and obliging.

I confess to having a bit of trepidation wrt an Italian restaurant in the heart of Tana. I ordered the Margharita pizza (just like I would have gotten in the USA, so I was very satisfied!) as well as a fruit salad for dessert: The fruit salad (as was the pizza) ample in size, and quite good variety of local... The drinks were strong:) the food needs another test, we might have made the wrong selection, it was not bad but not impressive. General location and atmosphere is good. We came early and felt to be ignored at first, but then the waiters were very responsive. Priced reasonably.

Good location, good restaraunt attached. Friendly staff, good value. I stayed there before taking my tour, and it was the same hotel the tour operator used.

Great food, with a beautiful terrace, sadley the view is not that great. Be sure to empty your glass before you order your next drink, otherwise the waiter waits till you take your last sip before he brings the next.

Was near our hotel so I ate here a few times. Good selection and service, non smoking area, food good. Worth a stop if nearby.

There is a large selection of menu, mostly Italian but also local or international. It is very pleasant (and I recommand it), in a nice sunny day, to take a table in the glass-enclosed verandah. Equally pleasant at night time. Service is good and reasonably on time.

This is centrally located in heart of the city. Its extremely nice interiors and exteriors are marvelous. Food quality is very good although a little costlier than others. American/Europeans prefer to spend time here for a dinner. awsome.
