Really enjoyed our visit here. Generous seafood platter, everything very tasty, and a nice environment. There are 2 La Ma Maree directly across the street from each other- we were told to go to the smaller one (not sure why, but it was good). Seems like a popular place that fills up fast, so we were glad we came on... More

The ideal place for sea food lovers in Antananarivo. Great food stuff and resonable price. Good food quality and quantity. Friendly staffs.

12 friends and 1 went on a Thursday evening. The staff were very attentive and accommodating, for example going to purchase the preferred beer of the group, Skol. We ordered several platters at 60,000ar each. One of the group had been previously and said the plate is like a party and enough for 4 people. So we ordered 3 of... More

The "in" place for amazing fish and seafood that is inexpensive and served in a very basic restaurant. Frequented by professional locals and expats that live in Tana. If you are not an adventurous tourist, best to eat at your hotel. The original Maree, located across the street, ran out of space because of the demand, and opened its sister... More

Delicious seafood in an unassuming restaurant, walking distance from the Ibis hotel. The portions are gargantuous and made for sharing. The mixed grill, camarones and the spaghetti were excellent. The paella is topped with a whole fish. Make sure you arrive famished. Order a soft drink and it comes in a two-liter bottle! With drinks and beer, the meal came... More

We decided on this restaurant based on reviews online and a desire for seafood. The restaurant is situated in a VERY dodgy area. We were the only tourists in the place and i must admit to feeling a little anxious. There is no English spoken and if you don't speak French then you are on your own when ordering. The... More

Everybody seems to have heard about this restaurant. It is popular with both the expats and the malagasy. Don't be fooled by the appearance, it looks as a very plain place, but it is the best restaurant that specializes on sea food. It is all about "fruits de la mer". The portions are huge, for example, the maxi grill feeds... More

Huge portions of seafood. One dish can feed 2-3 people. Very good food with a wide variety of choices. Near the La City shopping center/Shoprite. Worth a visit.
