Soukhothai is a little haven, you can hardly tell you are still in Bamako. Very nice food, not specifically overpriced. Book in advance. Have a beer or drink at the terrace before dinner.

I had the pleasure of eating here twice in 12 days without regret. The owners have created a bit of an oasis tucked away in bamako. We had a chance to see the entire herb garden which is lush and used for cooking. Courteous staff and hosts. Very beautiful decor. Delicious food.

In this town, a posh high end restaurant that you go to for a special anniversary or birthday type celebration or a quiet tete-a-tete for a romantic evening or a significant gathering with friends. Thai food tends to be spicy hot, but you can tell the waiters to tone down the flame. The service was friendly, helpful. The wait for... More

Nice relaxing atmosphere... The garden manicured garden in front with the calming waterfall not too big space so either you reserve a space or be prepared to seat outside. it all makes for a great dining experience inside or out. The food is OK, a bit pricey so will recommend for special occasions unless you flowing with wads. Otherwiseenvironment makes... More

Surprising that the best Thai food I've had was not in Thailand or New York but in Bamako. This place is exquisite. The setting is beautiful, the food excellent and the service impecable! You would be missing out if you did not have lunch or dinner here! Call ahead for a reservation though!!

This restaurant serves all the classic dishes, done faithfully, in part because the wife of the owner couple is Thai herself.

Either for business or with family, it's one of tge best place in bamako to have a great asian meal (thai), as the owner's wife is asian and supervises the cuisine. The owner is very funny and greats every guests. The personel is very welcoming and professional. The wine could be somehow expensive, but great variety of bières including from... More

We tried to dine in this restaurant during the first week of August, but it was closed while the owner and staff were on vacation. We finally succeeded in dining there on Monday 8 August when they re-opened. It was well worth the wait! The decor inside is perfectly Thai, from the golden laminated royal crown on a high shelf... I love this place! From try men's and samosa as starters to chicken pad Thai and finally the mango sticky rice - it is all so yummy! The prices seem to be high for the proportions, but it is possible to split appetizers and entrees with a friend and still be satisfied. Everything is made from authentic and fresh ingredients....
