Good quality Italian style pizza, in casual locale in Bamako. great thin crust and loaded with cheese and whatever you ask for. very reasonable prices. wood fired oven. informal. service was average at table. very good at counter. beer was chilled. AC room was small and full so had to sit outside. 45C in the shade, but had a good... More

Da Guido is a casual restaurant with a lovely outdoor eating area and at least one air conditioned dining room. We were pleased by the excellent security, but delight by the delicious pizza. The crust is yummy and the amount of toppings just right. They were also able to add fresh basil at our request! I will definitely go back... More

I actually ended up almost living out of this restaurant. Customer service is very good. The owner speaks English. Certainly, it is clean and the service is prompt. I ate an omelet sandwich, hamburger, and of course pizza. I enjoyed everything and cannot complain.

Good service in an ideal location. You can be able to see a lot of the city on the terrace. The food though.. Was a hit and miss, I've traveled a lot to know what the best pizza would taste like, and this was defiantly not the place. The food for me was just average.

Arrived to enjoy a few well-earned beers and some welcome sustenance in this difficult geographical location. Might have achieved that, had not a local family pitched up at the next table, laid out their baby and observed the mother proceeding to cleanse and change the baby's diapers before me on the dining table. Happily, had not ordered at that point... More

This pizzeria has moved across the street into new location. The family atmosphere is now lost. The new building is concrete and ceramic (no trees and wooden furniture like before). It bacame a "fast food" place. They chased all ladies waiters. The Kitchen is still good quality but the soul of good old Guido is now gone.

Nice atmosphere no matter your kind of environ. Indoors with the A/c, Outdoors under the Canopy or on top with views of the city. Plenty to choose from. Then a wide variety of foods. from steak to pork to pizza and fish! Don't be fooled it's not only pizza. And when the cheque comes, really doesn't break the bank. I... More

Guido's pizza is what we eat weekly in Bamako. Their new restaurant with safe entrance looks great from inside out. Now we can also eat there instead of always ordering out. Their delivery works well. BTW, the pizza is the best in Bamako if you order it well baked.

Guidos is easy to find, close to the American Embassy. Here you can get a really good stone-oven baked pizza or try one of the fish or meat dishes in the menu. The seating is outdoors under a roof in the walled courtyard.
