Country food was as expected. You get plenty on your plate. The salad is better than Olive Garden. The carrot cake was excellent.

Sometimes this place can really be hit or miss. Especially the steak strips! This is the only item I order - every. single. time. for years! This time all dough - no real meat, the meat was a little tough and fries were not fresh....More

Hello sorry for your disappointment, not sure when this happened there was no date listed. We weigh every portion of meat so that they are all the same consistently. We buy the meat locally and have it tenderized twice, but meat can be fickle some...More

We had eaten here a few times before and had fairly good meals, but the chicken we were served yesterday was dry and tough, not at all like the grandma’s chicken they advertise. I would not order that again, and I didn’t even want the...More

The food is good and you’re always served homemade food. The atmosphere is definitely of a farmhouse and the servers are always friendly.

The employees of the restaurant are the friendliest, nicest, and most helpful you could ever hope for at a restaurant. The food is plentiful and down home cooking, just delicious. You will not be disappointed if you stop by for lunch or dinner.

Unique setting in an old farmhouse with history to go along with it. Our waitress was more than willing to share the history with us. The onion rings had a type of breading I haven’t seen before with a yummy sauce to dip them in.
