We were here for breakfast, and I had the bean paste noodle (炸酱面), while the rest of us ordered the meat wonton noodles. Added an additional bowl of veg wonton soup which was said to be the hot seller of the shop. The bean paste noodle was good! Not a lot of meat in it, but the paste itself was... More

We went there during lunch time today and shared table with a local couple because is kinda pack. Everything was good till we went for a bill.. The cashier attitude is like I owe him few thousand grand. "Hello Auntie, if u don't like to your job handling the money, why not you go and take over the cleaner's position....?"

An historical shop originated from Shanghai. We ordered a bowl of wonton soup and another bowl of sesame paste noodles. Wontons were huge, but their skin was too thick. The tastes of wonton and sesame paste noodles were average, even worse than those we have ever tried at many street vendors. The waitress had a poker face and not so... More

Located in the heart of Taoyuan St., near Ximen. This entire street is full of great noodle shops worth checking out. The last time I was here was close to 10 years ago, so today I decided to check them out again. Just to see if there was anything changes in taste. I must say that their signature veggie with... Had passed by on the way to mrt. The wonton specialty was huge and with tasty stuffing - excellent mix of vegetable and meat in a clear soup broth with some omelette bits and scallion. The wonton skin was slightly too thick. Small gets u six wonton, medium 9 and big 12.. Price reasonable. There is a great selection of... More

Remember to purchase the smallest bowl (with 6 dumplings) and I guarantee you to be full! There are 2 shops, one in the alley and one outside by the road. Don't be shock like I did. It is just located separately. Do go to the front and grab the small side dishes. The cabbage side dish is really delicious!

The wonton were huge and with tasty stuffing - excellent mix of vegetable and meat. The wonton skin was also yummy. Price was cheap as well. In fact I have just finished a bowl of beef noodle opposite but still can finish a bowl of wonton (small portion of 6 pieces). Really great wonton and I could say it is... More

The wonton were huge so please remember to only order small portion. We ordered one bowl of chajiang noodles, one small cairou wonton and rou wonton. Worth a visit if you are nearby.
