Hidden down a little side street is this quaint looking Japanese house. Inside is a small sushi counter service which only sits 14, very small and Cosi and very high uplift sushi being served. Choice of three set menus!!! The selection is very special and presentation perfect . Not cheap but wow it was chill and very unique. Had one... More

Expensive but worth it. Ran 14,000 NT for two and we drank beer. But the meal was memorable. Highly recommend this restaurant if you have the budget.

Our dinner was delightful, food is great, a little bit on the expensive side but I think once awhile it's okay to pamper yourself. Service was great too, staff were attentive and proactive. Chef was educational in explaining the dishes and even taught us the traditional way how the Japanese would eat the food.

I live in Hong Kong where there are an abundant choices of quality Japanese food. A friend of mine suggested I should try Japanese in Taipei. I was a little skeptical at first but now looking back, it is a must try! From the moment you walk into Sushi Sasa, you know its going to be a great experience, from... More

Was recommended this restaurant by a reined who said that it was really good, and it certainly was really good! We decided to go for the TWD5000 menu and it was really quite spectacular. We went through 20 different items and ended with a soup and dessert. Certainly not for the faint-hearted and budget-conscious. Reservations are necessary to secure a... More

Sasa sushi is a small japanese restaurant that I had to book my seats in advance, Do reserve the counter seats so that you can appreciate their lovely art of preparing the different dishes. As usual, no menu offered ( all omakase ). All you have to do is to make decision on how much you want to pay for... More

This is a serious sushi restaurant. The fish is of a very high quality and the dishes are superbly crafted. We sat at the bar (which means you are spectator as well as diner). There was a nice choice of sakes. The service was good and the meal was well paced. There are a lot of dishes and everything is... More

I have always regarded Taipei as the best place to eat sushi outside of Japan. The globe is dotted with mediocre sushi restaurants , many of which do not contribute favorably to the reputation of this fine delicacy. Sushi Sasa ,thankfully falls into a different category. This is one of the most authentic sushi experiences in terms of restaurant and... More
