Located a few metre away from Democracy monument, Krua Apsorn is mostly frequently by locals for lunch time, which is a good sign for original thai food and not food for tourists. The menu is also available in English and there are pictures of the...More

Little strange place, very casual, but the food was very good. Near to the golden mount and the giant swing.

The salad and padthai is good. Other dishes are just average. It is not hard to get a table for 9 people. I would eat here again only of i am in the area

We were very excited to try this place, having read that it's locally famous and even favored by Thai royalty! Our food was good, but not amazing. Crab curry was absolutely not worth the equivalent of $15 USD. That's very expensive compared to the rest...More

You always see a long line outside. The egg crab cake was too salty and couldn't taste much crab. Tum Yum soup was not as impressive as some of the other places. Overall, nothing extraordinary.

The Krua Apsorn close to Democracy Monument is a great choice as it is a bit more accustomed to English speaking guests. The food is great - highly recommend the Soup with Prawns (enough for two!), but everything we tasted was great. Skip the deserts...More

Treat yourself to an absolutely delicious lunch at Krua Apsorn. Three of us polished off two orders of crab with yellow curry, the crab omelet, chicken wings and coconut sorbet. Yum. Note this restaurant has 2 locations, we ate at Dinso Road.

When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd
almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city.
The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens
