Even though I was the only non-Asian in the restaurant, I did not feel out of place even when I asked for a knife and fork. Staff extremely friendly and looked after me very well- even to the point of not putting watsabi in on meal.

Found this restaurant tucked away on the 4th floor of the Tokyu department store. Very unassuming restaurant but the food was very good indeed. Take a look at the special offers - we got 30% discount on some Maki, Nigri and Sashimi sets, including free Miso soup refills. Fish was fresh and firm. Would certainly come back here.

This restaurant is in Tokyo Department Store, adjacent to BTS National Stadium Terminal. Food quality is good. My regular menus are assorted sashimi over rice, shrimp tempura, and salmon steak. It offers a weekday deal too. You can have like a combination of good portion of rice and udon or ramen with salad, soup, and kimchi. Its location is good... More

Whenever we visited MBK Centre, BKK on vacation, like during our recent Jun ‘16 trip, we would somehow gravitate towards the Tagoto Japanese Restaurant @Level 4, Tokyu Dept Store for Japanese food, also a well-timed break and respite. With its somewhat inconspicuous location, first-time visitors might find Tagoto not easy to find; but definitely worth the effort for the “reward”.... More

The restaurant was not the purely Japanese style to sell one kind of the cooking like ramen or hotpot etc. Food quality was good and tasteful the raw fish was fresh and with good chef's skill. Price was acceptable.

I've been going to this place from time to time since 2012 and have been served consistently good food every time. The food tastes like home cooked Japanese food - the dishes that my friends prepared for me when I was working in Japan. Nothing fancy but perfect comfort food for me. They serve traditional dishes like tempura, Japanese curry,... More

The food is really good compared to the price. Great if you're in a hurry and not searching for high quality food. Serves sushi and basic japanese cuisine.

Don't let the fact that it is in a busy department store fool you. This is a great quality place. Rumor has it that the parent company is the one who supplies the fish to the high end restaurants in Bangkok.

This is reasonable priced authentic japanese food that is a deal in Bangkok. I would direct you here if you get that craving for some Japanese.

Tagoto is located on L4 of the Tokyu Dept Store in the MBK shopping centre, but don't be fooled by thinking that there aren't good restaurants in shopping centres, as Tagoto is a great example of good food and great value. We went for a late lunch around 2:30pm and were able to find a table for 6 no problems,... More
