Wow, the place serves original authentic north Indian food here. The sweets are really good. Highly recommended.

I had lunch at Royal India restaurant in Bangkokg and food was delicious: chicken tikka, peas in masala sauce, plain naan, lassi and delicious rice! The chai masala is also very good. The restaurant is in a small street and it is quiet.

I don't know what's so good in this restaurant some people are writing about... It's tiny, situated in... ehmm... strange place I would be scared to walk in at night for sure. The food is average, the prices are higher than this food's worth in...More

Don't be scared by the look of this small place and its kitchen: the food is tasty and the drinks are refreshing enough for a quick bite before starting the Chinatown exploration again.

This place is nice, comes highly recommended through other travel guides. BUT the food didn't seem as fresh. But it makes up for the ambience of the room and is delivered quickly. The price is great for budget travelers.

Chinatown / Yaowarat
Better known as 'Yaowarat' among locals, Chinatown is
Bangkok's bustling district that never sleeps. During
the day, the main street and its small alleyways are
filled with a vibrant mix of colours, scents and
flavours coming from the roadside restaurants and
all-day markets. The real action, however, happens
after sunset. Surrounded by neon lights, Thais and
tourists alike flock here around dinnertime to feast
