Me, my wife and children had an excellent lunch in December during our Christmas break tour at bangkok. Loved the food however there was very less walking space.

Some good fusion dishes here like the Volcano which is a baked scallop in cream, spicy and very tasty. Also the Chicago Spicy Crazy which is a dish consisting of salmon, tuna and white fish and fresh veges.
Understand from the reviews the place was renovated. Beautiful job! Didn't make a reservation... and showed up to about 20 people waiting to get a table. Quoted an hour... so went to the next Soi to have a couple beers. Came back 45 mins later...More

As authentic Japanese as you can get in this corner of Bangkok. They skip the fancy layout and decor and put all the effort into the food. Nice presentation, great selection and so many choices. Budget friendly and easy to get to. A definite must-try.
