Any day we go, this place is packed. We were lucky we only waited for less than 10 min on Sunday a bit before 12:30. This shop doesn't accept any reservation. But you know what, you can order your food while you are waiting. The result is the dish comes one after another soon after you are seated. I'd say... More

One of the better Ramens i have had in Bagkok. I have eaten here 3 times over the last three years. Its always fresh and bursting with flavor. Soup is always hot and the beer is super cold :). Their gyoza is also super. Their gyoza is top of the time.

Unique and one of a kind.....option with less salty which for some is a must. This is a place for "once in a while" and you will enjoy. Soup base could be too rich for some. Love the tofu dessert. Try it

Some of the best ramen in town for sure. Rich and super flavorful broth, well cooked noodles, super tender pork, they've got it all.

Their set of rice is so delicious. And of course the ramen is also good. If you come here at the meal time (lunch or dinner), please prepare for the long queue. Tip: Avoid the meal time ^^

This place is the real deal for ramen! Just as good if not better than many places I have had in Japan. I had the miso broth and it was excellent! Very busy loud place but not in an annoying way. Take your time. Drink beers. Have fun and leave totally stuffed!

Bankara serves the best ramen in Bangkok and they are originally from Tokyo. The pork broth is super rich and creamy. The noodle is al dante. Lastly, the braised kakuni pork belly is tender that it melts in your mouth.

Went there for the ramen but was pleasantly surprised by their sides instead - the prawn/shrimp roll was great but the gyoza was amazing! Super juicy! The ramen are really good as well, and among the best I have tried. their charsiew is great!

Visited the restaurant with a few friends on a Sunday. It was a good experience, worth the 30-minute wait to try one of best Ramen places in Bangkok. I had the ramen noodles in creamy, thick broth with stewed pork. The serving was really generous. Only complaint is the stewed pork. I got a good chunk of glistening sheer fattening... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
