We were recommended by our guide to try this restaurant as it was close to our hotel The Shangria La . We went twice and enjoyed good food at reasonable prices. The staff were welcoming and friendly.

The day we went was to celebrate a friends birthday, and it could not have been any better. Wonderful service, nice sidewalk eating atmosphere and the food was some of the best Thai food I have eaten here. There are many very nice Thai Restaurants and even great food from the street vendors but this is one place that will... More

We liked what we saw on the reviews for this place and so gave it a try. It was very close to our hotel (the Shangri-La). We were able to sit outside and enjoy the street scene of folks going to the market across the way or home after work. The food was great, very traditional. Good service and priced... More

I foolishly followed the advice of Trip Advisor's reviewers and visited this "authentic" Thai restaurant. This place is about as "authentic" as Pete's Peckham Pad Thai Palace. Spice and flavour has been carefully removed, along with many of the ingredients. I've honestly had better som tum in a Chinese restaurant in Dorking than I had here. The wi-fi didn't work... More

Just a few steps from our Centre Point Silom hotel we found this authentic Thai restaurant. Quite spicey green and red curries, full of chicken, shrimp or veggies. But do start with the satay, the best we had in Bangkok. Big juicy pieces, great. And the staff is very very friendly and helpful.

I've gone there three times because I felt comfortable to eat by myself as an older single woman. The staff is super friendly and the food is wonderful tasting Thai. I was super surprised about the coconut milk as it was a lot and tasted fabulous. Pick any dish, you cannot go wrong. I stayed at the Shangri La Hotel... More

It's located in downtown Bangkok so it's a fantastic place to eat if you're staying in one of the hotels by the river and fancy an authentic meal with great service, and it's a couple of minutes walk from the closest BTS station Bang Wa). Don't expect fancy, modern, spacious surroundings that will compete with top end restaurants, but what... More

Ate here after reading reviews and was not disappointed! Food and staff both fantastic. We ordered far too much food and they laughed at us but it was so good and relatively cheap so no regrets!

We had a hard time explaining what we wanted at times and food we hadn't ordered arriving but the food we had was lovely. We were there with a group of 8 and including drinks it cost $140 nz. It's easy to overlook communication issues when you have a lovely meal at a reasonable price.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Silom
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
