Comfortable place with mixed bag of food. I've eaten there a few times and found the quality to be variable. Not impressed by their hamburger, but lasagne pretty good. Prices reasonable. Relaxed place with friendly service.

Can't really understand how this place was so cheap. We had beer, water, two curries and rice and the whole bill was about 280 baht. Really tasty food as well!

Partially organic food in a cosy atmosphere. The food is well prepared with high quality ingredients. You will feel the difference.

Excellent food with incredibly cheap prices. Fantastic breakfast, great apple pie, and a superb choice of Thai and European dishes. It's on the opposite side of the street, from soi 2 Samsen rd.

We dropped in here for a curry and smoothie. Both were delicious and great value for money. The waiter, who might have been the owner, was very nice and served us quickly. He recommended we have some apple pie after our curry and it was a great recommendation, it was beautiful. Drop in for the apple pie at least!

Came for apple pie & vanilla ice cream for a late night treat (around 10pm) and was happy to find the place was still open. Delicious apple pie! Crust was almost cookie-like, but well worth the 75THB, which include choice of ice cream, or tea, or coffee. Today, had lunch. Lasagna with a side salad 159THB, and a papaya smoothie.... More

Whenever we're in Bangkok we always stop by for coffee and apple pie. Always great, not even mentioning the very low price!

The place is not very well decorated but you'll enjoy good Thai food (and cooking classes if you want) in a quite atmosphere far from the touristic places of the area. Good is simple and good. Prices are cheap.

Girl in hostel recommended this place.I Said I wanted good authentic thai food before I returned home. The owner/server is a really sound guy and with a bit of help i chose drunkards noodles with a thai level of spiciness! So hot and soooo delicious. Honestly feel very lucky to have found this place. Prices are super reasonable and I'm reading here... More

Staying in Dusit

Neighbourhood Profile
When wandering around the Dusit Palace grounds, you'd almost forget you're still in a Southeast-Asian city. The Renaissance-style buildings and leafy gardens wouldn't be out of place in an European capital, and the serenity here is in stark contrast with the chaotic city life outside of its complex walls. Dusit is one of Bangkok's oldest districts, and while the rest of Bangkok is modernising at a rapid pace, Dusit seems to have stood the test of time. Come here to find family businesses in traditional shophouses, small-scale local markets and streets unfazed by modern city life.
