If you are in the vicinity of Phrom Phong BTS station and want to eat good “home cooked” Thai food, then head for Hot Shoppe on the corner of Soi 41 and Sukhumvit road, next to Tops supermarket. This restaurant and bakery was opened in 1970 and entering is like walking into a time capsule. The lovely dated interior stall... More

Did not know of the existence of this restaurant until we started browsing around the Tops market. Both my wife and I enjoyed our lunch. Will certainly go again if we are ever in the vicinity. If youre staying at Adelphi Grande, it's at the beginning of the lane, on the right

This is a fine restaurant to eat good value and very well prepared Thai food. The menu is good, food well prepared and very tasty and the seating arrangements very comfortable. Don't forget to try their basil and lemon grass drinks as they are refreshing and taste great.

We ate there and the Food had absolutely no taste : The noodles were tasteless as well as the chicken with cashew nuts. Would not go there again.

The Hot Shoppe Coffee Shop is a relaxing and cool place to have a meal in Sukhumvit. Located on the corner of Sukhumvit Road and Soi 41 it is well placed for any visit to the area and almost next door to Top's Supermarket if you need to buy supplies for home cooking, chemist items, fruit and veg or any... Please stay away from this place. Extra, unacceptable charges for electricity included in the bill without customer agreement. I am a professional expat in Bangkok. I went to Hot Shoppe for lunch and decided to work on my laptop using free wi-fi. As the check arrived, I learned that the waiter charged me for electricity - simply for having my... More

In the middle of the traffic and smog of Sukumvhit, this place will take you back to the 70' when was established and delight you with the old atmosphere and the good food: i suggest to try the Hot Shoppe Taco Versione made with chicken: delicious.

This is a great restaurant with home cook dishes. The chicken wings are so delicious. My favorite dish is of course Fried Thai noodles with shrimps. I also like the Som tum and the roti with Thai green curry. It's location is just some steps from Prompong Bts station. Will definitely return for another meal there!

A lot of people have been asking me where that they can go and get Thai food, a good traditional Thai food like it was cooked by your grand parents, I would highly recommend this restaurant! Try all of their coconut curry soup, especially Chicken Massaman with Roti (fried pancake) and you will know what I mean. My parents and... More

Please avoid this place. Though it looks nice from the outside, the food is outrageously priced, the are miniscule and you get the distinct taste of food taken from the freezer and reheated. The place is staffed with girls who look like prostitutes and they are utterly and completely rude with no manners whatsoever.
