The cheapest drink is at c. 1000 bahts, and you can barely taste the alcohol. The waitresses were so freaking mean to us ! I still don't understand how this place has good reviews. It's very crowed and you almost cannot get a seat outside to see the view. Dear Lebua Tower, it is about time you understood you are... More

Distil In Distil you can find amazing cocktails! Music is good too! It's not cheap but it pays of! The best of Distil is a bartender! she is the pearl of the whole place. Hard to find such a good professional! I really hope they look after her because she was the best thing of all my Lebua experience. Every... More

Don't tell anyone. This should be the best kept secret ever. The cocktails are to die for and the views.

Most expensive "cocktail" we've had, since they seem to have forgotten the alcohol. View is amazing but not worth the $$$$

We visited the Distill bar recently. We had wanted to go on to the Sky bar however when we exited the elevator we were sort of ushered here. The views were really lovely and we had a few drinks which were very nice. Rather expensive but to be expected. We felt like we were led to this bar as a... More

We were staying in the Lebua hotel and thought we would go up to Distil for drinks and a view. Distil is on the 64th floor of the State tower and you can ask (several times) to go upstairs to the Sky Bar. When we got off the lift we were promptly escorted outside to our table and given nuts.... More

This was my second visit and we spent a few hours. First off, the wines are very expensive — the cheapest over 3,000 baht and there are wines above 550,000 baht! Be careful what you ask for and ensure the waiter has heard you correctly. The bar menu has a long list of dogs, cheese selection, seafood platters and oysters... More

Skybar was closed due to rain so we went to Distil. Understood there was a dress code so dressed appropriately only to discover shorts, tshirts and sneakers were accepted. Quite expensive but service was excellent. Very young crowd and techno music by DJ. Not a place to spend an evening but more a destination!

Very high end and high up bar that is very popular. Service is first class, surroundings, clientele, ambiance and the cocktails just as first class too. The complimentary olives are exceptional. Will always go here and take others, when in BKK.

Every aspect of Distil reflects purity in its most elementary form. On offer is a choice of the most premium and authentic malt whiskies, vodkas and Cognacs.A unique feature of Distil is the Oyster Bar. Pink Diamond Oysters, Exclusive Petrossian Caviar and fresh sushi and sashimi present a delightful selection, along with the finest champagnes and wines from a walk-in wine cellar. Hand-rolled authentic Cuban Cigars are yours to enjoy together with drinks in the adjoining open-air Cigar Terrace. Enjoy the company of the cool set at this hottest chill out spot in Bangkok. The chosen venue for the high flyers and for those of us craving a place to enjoy that one cigar amidst the perfect surrounding, Distil stands out in this aspect alone. Throw in the oysters and caviar, we move up one notch.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
