I am local and live in Bangkok. I and my boyfriend like Italian food but many of them in bangkok are overprice or bad taste. This restaurant have a good food with reasonable price, recommend to everyone who visit silom road.

My wife and I are exploring Silom and visited Torlente. Great Italian food at a reasonable price. We came on a Sunday and the restaurant was pretty busy with locals - I guess that's always a good sign :) The service was prompt and caring! We'll definitely be back!

Grabbed lunch in this small Italian cafe on Silom. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was good and I was pleasantly surprised. It doesn't rank as one of Bangkoks top Italian dens but the food was made with care and had excellent ingredients. Worth a visit if you want good food at a right price.

Restaurant look a bit old.. Fair enough. The staff doesn't speak very good English , also fair enough... Not a tradi-traditional Italian as per the recipe , but the food is tasty and the pastas are AWSOME. Let's not forget we are in Thailand fellow readers, and if you feel like "none Thai food for once" , this is the... More

We spent a really nice time at Torlente last week. Firstly, welcoming was perfect as the fabulous restaurant should be: the owner and her waitresses are doing a wonderful job. Staff is really friendly. Secondly, food was really good! The Chef there is doing amazing dishes! That night we tried delicious Spaghetti Vongole, spaghetti with prawn, blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu... More

Food was not fresh. Rubbery prawns, tasteless pasta. Surly waiters that didn't have the decency to remove the charge for the inedible dish from the bill.

Hello chictraveller2015, I am sorry to hear about your negative experience with us. I learned from our service team that we removed the added charge for the prawns when mentioning that you did not enjoy the taste. Our restaurant prides itself in preparing authentic Italian cuisine with only the freshest products and ingredients, and I am sorry that we failed... More

Comfortable nicely appointed Italian restaurant. Good tasty food, but don't expect authentic Italian. Friendly staff.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
