I don't understand the rave reviews of this place. It was ok, nothing special. The service was acceptable. I recommend the mutton soup which was very delicious. The main courses lacked any really subtlety. Just Indian food, WHACK! The garlic bread was far too strong for me. Garlic overdose. Not a bad place but get off the beaten track if... More

No doubt the best indian food i have ever had. Samosas were delicious. Tomato soup very good. The chicken korma was to die for. And all the rest was great. Price ia not chip but fair.

Usually stay in Asok, but this time I was on crutches and for medical reasons stayed near Nana. We have been passing in front of, and on the BTS, over this restaurant for years, and have been promising to stop off but never did so until recently. Small hole in the wall front entrance, that doesnt look enticing. But inside... More

I have eaten at Bukhara's Indian restaurant each time I visit Bangkok since 2011. It's excellent! Every friendly staff and sublime Indian food at reasonable prices. Never disappointing. And it's an escape from the bustle of Sukhumvit for a while.

I believe that this is the best Indian restaurant in Bangkok! For many years the lady who owns this place had a TV cooking show and also conducted cooking classes. Each dish is superb and a large serving. You must taste to believe. The staff is attentive and caring. Highly recommend for the whole family.

Visited after already having something at another place. Matter paneer was ok. The portion was quite generous for 190 baht. Garlic naan at 80 baht however feels expensive.

Being a huge fan of Indian food I was always nervous to eat Indian food in Bangkok after having a bad experience in another restaurant 12 years ago. Unfortunately, Bukharas is not a place I will visit again. Poor food that was thrown at my wife and I while we were just getting into the appetizers. Tough meat in the... More

Just moved to Bangkok and wanted some Indian food so tried this place. Food was good and naan excellent. Service was fine. The only small criticism was I saw the owner was there but hardly noticed his presence or input !

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
