The variety on the menu is amazing. Serves are huge and well priced. The beer menu is probably the most extensive in town. Then there is the atmosphere and host. A thoroughly enjoyable experience. You really MUST do it!

Back to G's a year later. New location on Silom Soi 4. Great food & beer. Friendly service. If you like good German food (& Thai)...this is the place to go in Bangkok.

This place is incredible. The beer selection is world-class and not overly expensive. The host/proprietor is one of the nicest I have ever met. The Thai food is all authentic and delicious. I would highly recommend the chicken green curry with a glass of Chouffe.

Hey guys, When ever you want to experience a piece of German culture, go to this place! It is really awesome there! You have a good variety and quality of German and Thai food. Furthermore your desire of "Bier" will definitely be satisfied. But the most sympathetic thing there, is the host itself. He is a really kind person and... More

Another great meal at this restaurant. My partner had homemade sausage which had just the right amount of bite and I had the roast pork which was fantastic. Servings are very generous and the Host, Guido, charming as always! Would highly recommend .

Three of us that didn't know the area picked G's through the T/A app as a meet up place...Being welcomed onto the outdoor deck area by Guido himself kicked off a great night. Guido enthusiastically explained details about the meals and wines we were considering. My sister and her husband had very nice schnitzel and really enjoyed his bottled wines... More

My first time eating German food in Bangkok! It was amazingly delicious. Good atmosphere and warm welcome from Guido, the German owner. The SAUSAGE PARADISE, a kinda assorted German sausages served in a big tray. For dessert, I ordered Apple Strudel, which was also good. Nothing more to say, but strongly recommend another authentic German resto in the centre of... More

Had a great sausage dish for my birthday in July and decided to come back for more. Thai food is average but lentil soup is listed as my favorite dish. Variety of German food and beers ... the price is not really for everyday meal but service and food quality is worth your money. Staff and service is superb. Walk-in... More

Had a sensational night with Guido and his team. Food was sensational with the snitzels and pork knuckle being off the charts. Highly recommend Guido's establishment for it's great service and wonderful food.

Staying in Silom

Neighbourhood Profile
Despite the lack of any major tourist attractions, this lively neighborhood is a favorite of many. Whether it's the (somewhat naughty) nightlife of Soi Patpong, the various handicraft night markets or the plethora of dining options that tickle your fancy, a night out in Silom is a must on every itinerary. It's worth a stop during daytime, too: join office workers on a quest to tasty street food during lunch and shop at Silom Complex for a great mix of Thai and international stores. After a day of strolling around the congested sidewalks, a visit to Silom's Lumphini Park, Bangkok's answer to NYC's Central Park, is a welcome change of scenery.
