Food was decent, had my favourite Thai dish Chicken with garlic and pepper which was cooked nice and tasty with sticky rice, drinks were cheap. All told around 150 THB / £3, lacked aircon but i suppose only a tourist would be picky about that :-)

Coffee@8 is like a private breakfast dining hall for me. Have been patronising it since 10 years ago when I first came to Bangkok. I am usually not the type of person who will opt for hotel buffet breakfast. Used to stay at Citadines soi 8 in the past and this little coffee outlet is great for dinner. Affordable price... More

We'd discovered Coffee@8 on a previous visit to Bangkok and went several times as we really liked it. On this occasion we travelled across town to Soi 8 off Sukhumvit for lunch and it was as good as ever. The laab moo was tasty and quite spicy I love this Northern Thai dish which was served with raw cabbage and... More

The food here is decent and the Thai food is definitely better than the Western food (but it's Thailand so that makes sense). Coffee is excellent. The place really comes into its own at night. Beer is very reasonably priced (in fact it's downright cheap for this area) and the cocktails are top class. You can watch a master at... More

In the evening this place really shines! With awesome service and drinks for 100 B (fair enough price). You also always get nice coated peanuts refilled all the time for free. Was there one night and me and my GF orderen specials both of us and the bartender smiled the next day and repeated both our special drinks without help.... More

I have been living in Thailand for one year now, so I have tried many different cafes and restaurants in Bangkok. Today we wanted to have a nice breakfast/lunch, one that wasn't Thai style for a change. This one seemed to fit what we had in mind in passing. In seeing the menu, the prices were higher than we are... More

This is the second time my husband and I have been here. We didn't eat here as we already had dinner on both occasions, however we went back tonight because the staff are so lovely. Definitely worth a visit.

We happened across this unassuming place whilst looking for lunch and were delighted. Rather than just a coffee shop we got served amazing and authentic Thai food of a very high quality. it was my first ever Laab Woonsen which was tasty, delicious and spicy. Best of all though was my partners fried morning glory with prawns - a fabulous... More

Staying in Sukhumvit

Neighbourhood Profile
With a mix of shopping malls, hip bars and food stalls lining both sides of Thailand’s longest road, you’ll rarely encounter a dull moment along Sukhumvit. While the main road itself doesn't offer a lot in terms of entertainment, it's the adjoining 'sois' (alleys) where the magic happens. Popular spots are soi 11 for a lively night out, soi 4 for naughty nightlife and soi 21 for world-class shopping at Terminal 21. It's hard to cover everything this area has to offer in on day, so be sure to take your time. Sukhumvit is heavily congested with traffic during day and night, so getting from A to B is most convenient using the BTS Skytrain right above it.
