Went to Suda based on a recommendation of a friend and both my boyfriend and I ended up getting food poisoning! We had a pad thai, papaya salad, egg noodles with chicken and 2 soft drinks. Service is very slow, food was below average. Pad thai very greasy. There are many better restaurants than Suda in Bangkok.

The food here is tasty and arrives hot to the table. The prices are very reasonable and you do not get ripped off. The service is nothing to write home about but when you see how busy they are you can understand that they don't have time to sit and chat!! This is not a restaurant for a long evening... More

We've been to Suda every time we go to Bangkok and always leave satisfied! Ask for the full menu and choose among the variety of Thai dishes! Very affordable and not renovated for decades, and still the friendly ladies keeping everything as it should be.

Suda is an immensely popular Thai restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 14. Very near Asok BTS station. Between 6 and 8`30 you may have to wait for a table. It is basic - plastic plates and fans for cooling but it serves great food - that is freshly cooked and so just like many Thai and Chines restaurants food may come... More

We visit Suda always when we are in BKK and when we used to live in the city it was our regular local place for dinner. It is an authentic rustic place and you can't await first class service or design furniture but real authentic and traditional Thai food. I recommend the fried White Snapper with chilli, garlic and tamarind... More

Food was delicious! Had green curry, tuna with cashew nuts, chicken fried rice, and morning glory. Very tasty. Very busy, took a while to take our order but understandable. Would recommend for the authenticity!

This is a good place for quick and inexpensive food. If you're not really worried about ambience, presentation or street noise, this isn't a bad place to go. You get a basic selection of Thai food that's prepared quickly and arrives at the table piping hot. There are no frills (the 'paper napkins' come from a toilet paper roll) and... More

try the dry noodles, the soups, the fried rice, the everything! This place is an institution and the cost of a meal often less than 100 THB. A litre of Coke is 40 THB. Ask for glasses of ice and they provide. The service staff is generally forwing and overworked, but the owners are quick with a smile and the... More

If you like really good food, meeting people from around the world, fluorescents and a good time you should stop by for a nice meal. It's one of our best restaurants in Bangkok were we enjoy our meals best. Lay back and feel good because it is. Don't miss chicken in banana leaves!

Stood up for 5mins waiting for a table to be cleaned. Got the menu myself as they sid not really care much about serving us. Called for them to take the order. No show even after calling them three times. Finally order placed. Food comes out after 15mins but no rice. Waited another 10mins for just plain rice. Service was... More
