I was invited here for lunch today along with five others. We all thought the food was delicious. The Thai person who invited us did all the ordering and knew exactly what to order. We had several dishes that I had never eaten in a Chinese restaurant before. One was a steamed freshwater fish that tasted like a sea fish... More

I went there for dinner with my family on 26 January 2016. It was not so many customers on that night. We ordered a Peking duck, a dish of vegetables, a dish of prawn with salad, one steamed Sand Goby, a dish of jelly fish and a dish of fried duck meat with lettuce for us to wrap the meat.... More

The fine Chinese restaurant in Thonglor area. Their Peking duck was delicious! The restaurant decorted in classic style, with its dark wood. The service quite slow.

Horrible Chinese food, disgrace to the Chinese cuisine. Mediocre black pepper crab that barely had meat Peking duck meat cooked into a black pepper dish didn't taste like duck meat. In fact my companion and I had a suspicion on whether it is duck meat at all. Prawn vermicelli is not fresh at all. In short, AVOID THIS RESTAURANT

With the influx of Japanese food restaurants ,fine Chinese food dinner on soi Thonglor is becoming rare. Royal kitchen has been around for sometimes and still doing great. I ordered pecking duck and fried fish maw and both were delicious, (though the sauce for the duck was a little too salty). The service was good with attentive staff. The restaurant... More

We were here in July 2025, invited with a group of eight people. While I may not be particularly fond of Chinese restaurants in general, I was positively impressed by this place. The food was very good, waiters were very attentive, and it became obvious that this restaurant targets a sophisticated approach. Among other things, we ordered Peking duck, which... More

We ate at the Royal Kitchen in Terminal 21 having found a Chinese restaurant amidst the many Japanese ones so wanted a change. The restaurant is nice enough with a good view over the city. The food was pretty good too, though we stuck to tried and tested dishes we've had elsewhere before. The service however was pretty dreadful. The... More

I haven’t visited Royal Kitchen for quite some time until a friend suggests we should. Royal kitchen is well known for Peking duck. Their wrapping is different from other restaurants. The sauce still tastes the same as before. Sesame dumpling in ginger syrup is another well known dish. The light colour juice is not too sweet and full of ginger... More

I've been to this restaurant loads of times and the food is good, authentic Cantonese fare. Having said that my favourite dish is the prawn in salad cream which I've never seen in Hong Kong! It has the feel of a Hong Kong restaurant, but the service is just terrible. You have to ask for rice three or four times... More

Thong Lor & Ekamai
Known as Bangkok’s hippest neighbourhood, Thong Lor and Ekamai is where the city's well-dressed and well-heeled spend their nights sipping cocktails in hidden speakeasies and posh restaurants. Live it up in one of Thong Lor's extravagant clubs and be prepared to brush shoulders with a Thai celebrity or two. While great for a night out, the area is nothing short of interesting during the daytime, either. Expect a mix of savvy coffee shops, pop-up bars and loads of vintage stores, brought to you by hip locals with eyes for design.
