This restaurant is very nice being inside of a temple. You can enjoy your meal while watching monks going around working at the temple or simply enjoying their time. I would recommend the banana flower salad it was absolutely exquisite. Pun pun is a great experience to have while in Chiang Mai to try something different and still enjoy tasty... More

The waiter speaks good english so you can ask everything about the food! Nice atmosphere sitting outside in the temple yard and enjoying very well cooked vegetarian specialities! Don't go late for sometimes they run out of food and close :( A must in Chiang Mai!

Nice lunch here - really delicious salad with homemade tofu, which was yum. Cooked dish that my friend had was tasty but pretty small. Free drinking water if you have your own bottle, but no toilet on the premises.

They had menus in multiple languages and eggs were noted in each dish so it was easy to pick a vegan option. This was one of the only places I found with soy milk for drinks. Super delicious and a cute location! There are signs pointing to the building if you come in on the main road. I'm not sure... More

The restaurant was not easy to find, but mainly because Google Maps has put it closer to a street than it actually was. If you come directly from the temple, you should find it easily. We had the Kao Soi and a fried rice Paneng curry. The fried rice was really good, the Kao Soi was good, but we've had... More

Delicious food! The vegs are super crispy and we also ordered deep fried edible flowers salad which were so delicious. To finished it off, we had sweet pumpkin in coconut milk served hot as dessert. The prices are also affordable

We went here for lunch with our daughter who is vegetarian and let her do the ordering! Everything we ate was freshly cooked with fresh ingredients and tasted extremely flavoursome and delicious. It was a lovely place to sit outside and we will definitely be going back very soon, having taken a note of the dishes we particularly enjoyed!

Pun Pun is located next the Wat Suan Dok temple in Chiang Mai which adds a wonderful ambiance to your meal. The menu is all vegetarian which was nice for my fiance who could order anything on the menu. The food was wonderful! We ordered hot tea which came out in a giant kettle so we were able to enjoy... We've visited a number of vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai and Pun Pun is head and shoulders above the rest. Perhaps it is because they cater to Thai customers as well tourists so the food has flavour. We ordered the 'vegetarian' sausage that though nothing like what we were expecting was delicious and the highlight of the meal. The massuman... More
