The outside garden has a scaled down version of godzilla and the inside is full of smaller models surrounded by lucky cats suspended from lamps. We'll worth coming in for the atmosphere alone! The food is authentic and delicious with a wide selection of sushi (for my partner) and meat dishes (for me!!).
Excellent and quick service, I chose a table at the patio where it was romantic and quiet. The meal was very good, wish I wasn't alone so I could taste many different dishes. Seaweed salad was fresh and the unagi kabayaki just melted in my mouth. One of the best Japanese in town.
It's difficult to find a cold place in Chiang Mai - so if you'r looking for something refreshing this way - welcome to the Shirayuri. To tell it short - there are masses of Japanese Restaurants in Chiang Mai and a concentration is to find in the Nimman Area. So you've the choice... The Restaurant we're talking about is one... More

Very tasty rolls. Good Service and friendly staff. Nice and quiet place. Price was very impressive $40-50 for 4 person.
We went with my wife, daughter, uncle and my father in law to this restaurant by hazard. We decide to try the tepanyaki and we get it perfect. Chef Bird is a perfect entertainer and a talented cook. Matsuzaka beef is very good and melt in your mouth. Service is good. We will come back for sure.
My partner & I ducked in here to escape the sweltering heat. We were greeted by super friendly staff. The cold scented face cloth and air con really did the trick. Relief! With a typically large Japanese menu, it took a while to make a decision. The food was delicious, service was fast, free wifi is also fast and the... More
If your sick of Zen and Fuji and want Japanese with a more authentic flavour then try this place. It has a huge Godzilla out the front. For a very expensive price you can get imported beef tepanyaki. I usually get the Katsu curry (the best i've ever had) or the Niku Soba (a beautifully flavoured soba noodle soup with... More
